How are veneers different from bonding?

Porcelain veneers are thin, custom-made casings that are affixed to your damaged teeth. While veneers are pre-made casings that cover the tooth, dental bonding utilizes a malleable putty-like material that is shaped to your teeth in order to cover imperfections and emulate the surrounding teeth. Veneers are typically a permanent procedure, while dental bonding is reversible.
